13. Mechanics

 

This section describes the mechanics of the LHC project.

By far the most complex section is the target assembly, which contains the following:

1. Motorised Linear slide base incremental by ±1µm

2. Motorised rotary stage for target

3. Gas tight target chamber

4. XY & focus positional hardware

5. Everything else needed to complete the assembly
