8. LCD LED Auto Dash (1992)

Hardware: DIY Intel 8031 microcomputer

Software: Intel 8031 macro assembly language.

 

This is the fully functional dash I designed and built for my GS920 Special, see Projects: Fish & Chips. I built it using the wire wrap [E43] prototyping method, but never got around to replacing it with a conventional soldered board. It's still on the bike in my garden shed!
